Working together
How I work
I work integratively, drawing on person-centered, psychodynamic, and relational approaches. Our early relationships shape how we relate to ourselves and others, often outside conscious awareness. Bringing curiosity and attention to these clues is often where change becomes possible.
Who I work with
People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons. You might be dealing with anxiety, overthinking or perfectionism, low mood, a difficult relationship or pattern that keeps repeating. You might be in the middle of life transition, questioning something about your identity, or carrying a quite sense of lonliness. Some people come to talk about experiences of sexual abuse, at a pace that feels safe to them.
Whatever your circumstances, however things look from the outside, your feelings and thoughts deserve space.

What to expect
1. Get in touch. Send me a short email to arrange an initial consultation.
2. Initial consultation. This is a free, 15-minute video call. You can share what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any any practical questions, and get a feel for whether working together feels right.
3. Deciding together. There’s no commitment. Afterwards, we each take time to decide, and if we both feel it’s a good fit, we’ll agree a time for your first full session.
If you’ve never had therapy before
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re unsure what to expect. You don’t need to prepare or know what to say. You can arrive just as you are.
Together, we’ll take time to understand what has brought you here, what feels difficult, and what you’d like from our work. Therapy is collaborative and moves at your pace, guided by what matters most to you right now. Over time, many people find it brings greater clarity and understanding.
In clients’ words “I had 14 sessions with Erin. I was nervous to start, but it turned out to be very helpful.” “Working with Erin has given me space to explore feelings I’d pushed aside for years. I leave sessions feeling like myself.”
